Lobbying Activities
The campaign's organisers prepared a lobby document for the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform on the occasion of the 42nd meeting of UN Commission on the Status of Women (held in New York City on March 3-15, 1998). Organisations that prepared individual submissions include Amnesty International - Irish Section, Banulacht, the Dublin Aids Alliance, Ireland Action for Bosnia, the Irish Commission for Prisoners Overseas, the Irish Refugee Council, the National Traveller Women's Forum, and Women's Aid.
