Women Watch: The UN Internet Gateway on the Advancement and Empowerment of Women
WomenWatch is a joint initiative of: DAW , UNIFEM and INSTRAW. It provides information about the work of the United Nations entities and inter-governmental bodies that deal with the advancement and empowerment of women; UN conferences on women and on women specific-features of other global UN conferences held since 1990; regional plans of action for women's advancement and empowerment; and up to date information on events at the UN and elsewhere in the follow-up to the Beijing and other global UN conferences.
